ADHD Coaching
ADHD Coaching is tailored to the individual, and the challenges they face.
Emotional Dysregulation is a key area many struggle with. They feel like they are being 'too sensitive', or 'always over-thinking'. Maybe the opposite of that 'too lazy', 'always late', 'procrastinate all the time'.
These feelings and statements become 'who they are' rather than being supported to understand and work with their ADHD. Knowledge is power, and once we are aware of something it can then be worked on. This doesn't mean there is a cure!, there isn't BUT there is a way to manage and live differently, which is where coaching comes in.
Each person is unique and deserves to be listened to, shown care and understanding, regardless of diagnosis.
Being Neurodivergent brings many challenges, how each person copes and reacts to these challenges varies significantly. (There is no right or wrong here)
Feeling judged, criticised, unheard or mis-understood hurts. Being called lazy, scatty, talks too much, wants special treatment and so on, hurts.
Coaching empowers you, reassures and validates your feelings, builds knowledge, offers strategies, encourages action and commitment to achieve whatever is important to YOU.
The Coach is not going to tell you what to do, but they will be your biggest cheerleader!

Drawing & Talking
Drawing & Talking is a very special and unique practice. The client and practitioner ideally meet, in person each week for 12 weeks, consistently at the same place, day and time each week.
Drawing & Talking is a non-directed approach, meaning our practitioners follow the clients lead. The practitioner doesn't follow an agenda or have objectives. Their role is to be present, and available as the client explores through drawing, talking or sand play.
It's important to reassure you, there are no expectations around drawing ability! We are not here to interpret, or judge what we see or hear. We are here to provide and keep a safe, therapeutic space for you to explore and discover.
Drawing and Talking is suitable for children aged 5 and up, adults, people with early onset Dementia and those who are non-verbal.
This technique offers a way to express feelings and emotions, some from deep within a persons mind, that otherwise would not be talked about.
Drawing & Talking is not Counselling or Psychotherapy. We would always recommend you research and choose the right intervention for you and your loved ones.
